Five days back, she had undergone major heart surgery to close an Atrial Septal Defect and is convalescing well.
Her family comes from a village 350 kilometers away, her father a laborer whose meager wages could hardly be expected to cover even 5% of the expense associated with her treatment.
Yet, a combination of a humanitarian scheme by our State Government and generous donations made by supporters around the world to the Dr.Mani Children Heart Foundation have made this miracle possible.
