Our Operations
The Dr.Mani Children Heart Foundation strives to keep its activities and efforts always in line with the aims and objectives for which it was founded.
For the present, these activities focus on 2 broad areas:
- Providing healthcare - by sponsoring expensive heart operations
- Spreading awareness - by educating the public about heart birth defects
To maximize impact and make sure that effectiveness combines with efficiency, we regularly review progress and measure performance against clearly defined goals and plans.
Financial records and accounts are meticulously maintained, and audited by a certified charted accountant every year.
Extensive travel is not often required. In case the need arises for our trustees to travel internationally, expenses are borne by the trustees out of their personal resources, and the Foundation does NOT pay for them in any way.
