On September 12th, 2008, I will be 'tweeting' (posting on Twitter) non-stop, all day and night long, to help raise funds to sponsor life-saving heart surgery for poor children with heart birth defects.
This year, the theme of my marathon will be
Passion. Purpose. Persistence
Side by side with my own tweets, I plan to feature 'Secrets' shared by other guest entrepreneurs - like YOU. I would like to invite you to contribute an exclusive piece of content to this event, if you like.
This will be 'private' content (article, blog post, audio or video) not accessible to a general audience (it's exclusive to the Tweet-a-thon until Sep.12th 2008).
I will link to this content during the 24 hour event on September 12th, giving you exposure to all visitors to the Tweet-a-thon site (typically in the thousands).
All contributions will also later be compiled into an information product to give away or use as a separate fundraising tool - and even offered to all contributors to use for such a purpose.
When you submit your contribution, please be aware of this intended use and agree to allow your content to be used this way (you own copyright, of course).
If you have the time to send something I can include, I'd greatly appreciate it.
The guidelines are simple:
- Your content should be informative, and share some useful tip, secret, tactic or strategy that will help or entertain Tweetathon followers
- You permit the content to be shared with Tweetathon followers during the Sep.12th event, and later included in a special info-product being compiled from the blog posts after the event ends
- You may NOT promote or pitch your product or service in the content
- Along with a link to your content, your name, business name and website URL will be featured for Tweetathon followers to see
